Dog Cat

First aid for dogs and cats

An injury after a scrap, a cut from a piece of glass, ingestion of an unknown substance: nearly every owner faces an emergency at some point. In this seminar, participants learn the right first-aid steps and how to get their animal safely to the nearest veterinary practice. Time for practical exercises and individual questions is built in.

  • Format: Theory + practical
  • Ideal for 12 participants (indicative)
  • From €42 per person · group rates on request
Dog Cat

Medical Training

For many animals, vet visits and grooming are major stressors. Using methods long established in zoos and wildlife parks, dogs and cats can be specifically prepared for medical situations — without coercion, but with confidence and a stronger bond. Co-presented with veterinarian Patricia Vehrs.

  • Format: Theory
  • Ideal for 12 participants (indicative)
  • From €42 per person · group rates on request
Dog

Scent work for dogs

Scent work is wonderfully enriching for dogs and equally enjoyable for handlers. Mantrailing, area search, tracking, target-object search, search games — the seminar gives an overview and helps you find the right format for your particular human-dog team. Hands-on exercises follow directly.

  • Format: Theory + practical
  • Ideal for 12 participants (indicative)
  • From €32 per person · group rates on request
Dog

Dog licence preparation

Preparation for the Dog Owners' Qualification Test 2.0, the widely-used proof-of-competence exam for dog owners in Germany. The seminar covers both the multiple-choice theory section and the content of the practical exam, and is suitable for new and experienced owners alike.

  • Format: Theory
  • Ideal for 12 participants (indicative)
  • From €42 per person · group rates on request
Cat

Taming the indoor cat

Cats are independent and need their own space — and yet they develop remarkably nuanced social structures. The seminar explains the behaviour of the domestic cat and shows how to provide a truly species-appropriate home: from retreat spaces to social constellations to everyday enrichment.

  • Format: Theory
  • Ideal for 20 participants (indicative)
  • From €28 per person · group rates on request
Dog Cat

Children & pets

A new baby joins the household — or an animal joins a family with children. Both work well when the introduction is right and a few key rules are in place. Veterinarian, dog owner and mother Dr. Ann-Kathrin Fritsche shows what matters so that humans and pets share life safely and at ease.

  • Format: Theory
  • Ideal for 20 participants (indicative)
  • From €28 per person · group rates on request
Dog

Blue Dog project

This DVG-certified programme teaches children aged three to six, through play, how to interact safely and kindly with the family dog. Parents and children work together with interactive comic scenes — guided by a certified Blue Dog adviser.

  • Format: Theory
  • Ideal for 12 participants (indicative)
